Here is a situation where an annual service call for $80.00 would have saved this customer $900.00!  The up “opening” and down “closing” force was set at 9 but, it should have been set at 3.  That bent every panel.  The door I installed was a Clopay model #9130 steel back, insulated garage door with almond color and a 12.9 R value for insulation.  In this case, I was trusted to make all decisions for the entire project.  I picked out the almond color to replace the original bent white door, insulation value suggested that we also replace the spring hardware only.  This saved the customer some money as we used his original rollers, hinges, track, tube, drums and cables.

New LiftMaster garage door opener with MyQ technology for Internet accessibility.

This was a town house with an open carport that the owner wanted to have converted to an enclosed garage with a garage door and opener installed.  This required a custom installation that had to modify the frame height down to 6′ 9″ because of beam running down center of garage and a width of 14′ 10-1/2″   The door installed was 15×7 T52, Clopay insulated, short panel garage door with a 3″ low headroom track.  Also installed was stop molding around outside of door which is always required when installing an insulated door in order get your full R value insulation from of your door.

The “Before” picture with small windows is the original door that was dented and had ripped panels.  The “After” picture with larger windws is the one installed to replace it.  It’s a 16’x7′ T50 long panel Clopay door with full view windows.
Also installed on this project was a LiftMaster model #8065 MyQ chain drive garage door opener with a 1/2 horsepower motor which, is the best bang for your buck and reliability..

This is a wood one-piece wood garage door that was changed over to a 16′ x 7′ Intellicore Clopay 2″ thick steel back roll-up door, model #9203 with a 18.4 R-value that has Sunset #601 windows.
